Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears

Tiled pavements

Yes, I am so very scared of tiled pavements, tiled floors and any other slippery walking surfaces. I am also scared of leaves on the pavements. They are slippery as.

I’ve fell and twisted my ankles so many times, I am seeing myself fall and twist every time I step on the wet or shiny tiles.

Trampoulines

When I was about five, my dad took me to his flying club. It was outside of town, in the forest. There were cabins and cottages there and families used to come there for holidays. There was a playground/ sports ground with lots of equipment.

Ther was several of us playing together on the playground that day. Boys were jumping on the trampoline. One of them jumped and fell. I saw him fall. I saw all the blood. I heard his mother screaming. My dad closed my eyes and took me away…

From then onwards I can’t look at the trampoline without shivering. Needless to say, my daughter never had one

Frogs

Yes, I am self-confessed sufferer of ranidophobia (fear of frogs). I am scared of these slimy, green, ugly and jumpy creatures. I do understand their place in nature, but I am scared of them nevertherless.

My cousin used to have to carry me on his shoulders if we had to walk across the field in the village… Frogs were everywhere.

I am still scared of them, very very scared
